First time sledding!!

We took Kaia sledding this past weekend after we got lots of new snow! It was her first time - and she loved it!! Unfortunately the best time we had to take her was just as she should have been going down for a nap...as you can see in this first picture she looks pretty sleepy. We were afraid she was going to fall asleep before we got there...

As soon as we got her all dressed up and out in the sled and snow she was all smiles! We had such a fun time with her! She is such a fun happy little girl!

Every time Chris and KK would get to the bottom of the hill she would get frustrated with us because we couldn't get her to the top of the hill quick enough! She really loved the speed and rush of sledding.
I love this picture. At the end of some of runs she was covered in snow. Instead of trying to get it off with her hands she began trying to lick it off her face.
Kaia and I are both so lucky to have Chris! He loves spending time with Kaia, and she just loves when he is around and giving her all of his attention. After some time of sledding she wanted to get out and walk around in the snow. She tried to climb up the hill they were sledding down...but she didn't have much success. These next two pictures of her are some of my favs of the day. She likes to sit and watch others and take in everything that is going on around her. There were lots of kids there and she wanted to play with every single one of them. She is such a social butterfly.
As we were leaving Chris was pulling her up the hill to our car. She loves to pretend lately (she pretends to be a cat/dog, or pretends to make food and eat it....) but her favorite thing to pretend is to be asleep. As we were going up the hill we hear her fake snoring..and we turn around and see this...
I just love this girl so much! She is such a joy! She keeps us on our feet, and always keeps us smiling. Surprisingly she doesn't get into too much trouble (I say surprisingly because she did come from Chris and I), she is also a good listener, so she makes parenting pretty easy. Though, I know our next baby can't be so easy....
